Purpose & Possibility
This 4th of July marked protests across the country and another mass shooting. How are you handling all that is going on in the world? What are you doing to take care of yourself? How are you finding peace in the midst of all the chaos?

Tragedy and Resilience
The recent events in Uvalde, Texas have devastated our nation once again. How do we move forward and create meaningful change in the face of such devastation? In this post, I talk about what I’m doing to support myself in moving forward with positive, decisive action.

What if you couldn’t fail?
How has “failure” impacted your decisions? What if every failure was actually a gift and opportunity? Would that change anything for you?

Breakdown to Breakthrough or from Depression to Possibility
Depression robs us of possibility. I share my experience with depression and my breakthrough to possibility. How have you moved from breakdown to breakthrough? What did you create? What did you learn?

Three Tools to Tame Impostere Syndrome
If you’re living with imposter syndrome then you know how paralyzing it can be and how bad it can make you feel. In this post, I share a bit of my story and the impact that imposter syndrome has had on me. I then go on to share three tools that will absolutely help you to tame imposter syndrome.

A Positive Attitude and Extraordinary Results
We have the option to hit restart at any moment in our day, week, or year and to make intentional choices that just might result in a “spark that creates extraordinary results.”

Purpose is my jam!
I realized when I went through the process of “connecting with my purpose” and then creating my “purpose statement” that the process energized and invigorated me – it brought me a great deal of satisfaction and hope for the future.

Leadership - Living and Leading with Intention
You know you’re not being intentional when you get caught up in the busy pace of life and lose sight of what’s truly important. Unfortunately, it can be easy to get caught up even when life is relatively sane. Add to that, things like COVID, political tension, racial injustice, and inequality – well, it might start to feel like we have no choice, of course, we’re going to get caught up with all that’s going on around us.

Opportunities!
We are in the last few hours of 2020 (at least in California) and I am feeling something…I’m not quite sure what. I think it is a mixture of sadness and excitement. Excited to be moving forward into a new year with new opportunities and new possibilities and I’ve created a list of opportunities that will help you move into the New Year with decisive action.

Purpose, Vision and Self-Care
I am so happy to be here with you again today. I love this time of year – the rain, the snow, sweaters, and boots, fresh, cold air – yep, I love this time of year! And then there is the possibility – a whole year ahead of us that holds all the possibilities that we could ever wish for. We get to create our future and we can make it whatever we want it to be. Are you ready to step into your future? To create a life that is values-driven and live your intention? Me, too!

Release and Reset
This past weekend I had the wonderful experience of participating in a Release & Reset workshop facilitated by Coach Wendy Green of Daring & Dynamic Coaching. The workshop is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to review 2020, take note of the things that worked and that they want to remember and release those things that are no longer serving us.

Good Night 2020!
Like most everyone I know, I am ready to put 2020 to bed. This has been a year of great loss, cultural turmoil, and political upheaval for many. In the U.S. and around the world, we have had to adjust to a new lifestyle to keep ourselves and our fellow citizens safe.

Being
I want to be compassionate and kind and grateful all the time, with everyone. Does this mean that I won’t have bad moments or days? No, I’m human and I’ll never be able to do anything perfectly but if I can simply remember that the choice is always mine, then hopefully more often than not, I’ll be able to choose to “take a pause in time to allow for something different.” If I can do this, then I have a feeling that when my time does come, my family, friends, and colleagues will remember me as a person who cared about them – always. This is a legacy I can live and die with.

Reclaiming Power Over Our Lives
Action is key to dispelling feelings of powerlessness, helplessness, and hopelessness. In addition to taking action towards righting the wrongs of social and racial injustice, or even taking action to protect yourself, your family, and your community from the Corona Virus, you can also take personal action that will support your mental, emotional and physical health by creating a healthy, supportive routine.

Being in the Moment
Attitude has been on my mind a lot lately. Through the current situation with COVID, I’ve been struggling with my attitude. Maintaining a positive attitude has probably been my greatest challenge. It seems like I do great for a few hours, maybe even a few days, but then I fall back into a slump. One day I love working from home, the next day I’m exhausted and feel like all I’m doing is working. And then I do it all over again...
Maintaining a Positive Attitude while Practicing Social Distancing
Learning how to create and maintain a positive attitude is the challenge each of us must rise to! If we are going to be stuck at home, we may as well make the most of it and pursue a positive attitude so that we can each create our own extraordinary results! Read on for a list of 15 things you can do to maintain a positive attitude.

Live With Intention
What does it mean to live intentionally? How do you live intentionally? According to Merriam-Webster intention is defined as “a determination to act in a certain way” (2019). I believe that the way to live your best life is to live with intention. To know what you value and then act in a way that honors your values.
